The plan on the 3rd Vietnam Book Day 2016 in Quang Nam has recently launched by the provincial People’s Committee. It aims to develop reading movement and building learning society – a beautiful feature of social life.

This event confirms the role and importance of books, honoring the values of books, building a culture of reading in community, giving authors, researchers, printers, publishers, and distributors credit for their contribution as well as enhancing the responsibilities of the governmental levels, related branches, social organizations, book writers in the process of writing and publishing books.

Through books and other publications, the images of Vietnam in general and of Quang Nam province in particular are introduced to domestic and foreign readers.

The Book Day will happen with book exhibition, book fairs,  beautiful and good books presentation, free reading, books at discounts… Besides, there are also many other activities such as talk of books, composers-readers exchanges, reading, reciting and reviewing competition, collecting books to difficult areas.
